Chorley Site - Closing at 5PM

Due to the adverse weather and difficulties getting on and off site today. Our Chorley site will be closing at 5PM.

Business will be open again as usual at 9PM tomorrow.

Both our Chorley and Leyland sites are open for business as usual, however, driving conditions in and around our Chorley site are trecherous so please only visit Chorley if absolutely necessary.

Froom Street - Reopened.

The roadworks at the top of Froom Street have now been completed, so we are pleased to announce that the road has been reopened, so the diversion down Bagganley Lane is no longer required.

Froom Street - Closed - Divertion in Place

Until the end of this week (7th November), Froom Street is closed for repairs to sewers.

Their is a divertion in place and Lower Healey Business Park is open for business as normal.

Customers need to go down Bagganley Lane and then take the last right, down Montcliffe Road. This brings you out at the bottom of Froom Street and you then just need to turn left to take you over the canal bridge and towards the business park.

Bulk Storage at Chorley

Both Sites Open

Despite the snow, both our Chorley and our Leyland self storage facilities are open as normal today.

However, we would advise customers to only travel if it is a necessity, as the local roads leading to the sites are still very dangerous.

Particular care should be taken if visiting Chorley as both the access road and the site itself are very icy.

Chorley Site - Update

The Chorley site will remain closed for the remainder of the day.

Trecherous road conditions both in the local area, and particularly on the site itself means that access to the the self store is proving very difficult, and due to a regional shortage of grit, the site itself is now very dangerous. Froom Street has not been gritted, and cars are getting stuck on the bridge over the canal.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, and will do everything possible to ensure that the site is open again as normal tomorrow.
